  20.     A friend of mine has an A4000 with the Emplant deluxe board
  21. installed and has not been able to get his ZIP drive to run for more
  22. than 5 minutes at a stretch.  In all his contacts with the Emplant
  23. people, the only thing consistently coming out of them is that they
  24. are aware of the problem.  We have tried a variety of solutions, even
  25. attempting to install squirrel ZIP tools and nothing seems to fix it.
  26. The CDROM drive, an NEC 4X drive, runs on both the MAC and Amiga sides
  27. with no problem.  No other drives are attached to the Emplant board.
  28. It appears that the makers of Emplant just did a poor job of implementing
  29. the SCSI controller.  Kind of a bummer when you consider that the MAC
  30. emulation  runs pretty well.  My friend would really like to have 
  31. access to the ZIP on both sides of the machine.
  32.     If anyone has a ZIP running reliably on their Emplant would you
  33. e-mail the solution or the conditions that you established to get it
  34. to work?
